– C.M. Punk, who won the ROH Title on Saturday, has signed a WWE contract. The plan right now is for him to defend the title one more time before leaving for WWE.
– Sabu is scheduled to be in Phoenix as WWE is negotiating with him. He would join ECW stars Super Crazy and Psicosis as well as Juventud Guerrera as new additions to the WWE roster.
– Brandweek magazine discusses WWE’s recent press release that it will be merchandising to older wrestlers by putting legends into TV storylines and pushing them on 24/7. Roddy Piper and Billy Graham are two to have been put on TV recently, as well as Sgt. Slaughter. Paul Bearer has also recently announced that he has signed a legends deal with WWE.
