Pot possession charges against “Desperate Housewives” teen actor Cody Kasch will be dropped a year from now, provided he doesn’t get into any additional trouble, a judge declared Monday.
Kasch, 17, who portrays Zach Young on the hit show, was arrested on May 17 in Manhattan’s East Village after police officers allegedly spotted him smoking marijuana in public.
Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Evelyn Laporte ordered Kasch to come back to court on June 20, 2006, at which time the fifth-degree drug possession charge will be dismissed if he has not had any further legal troubles.
