Expect to see AJ Styles back in the X Division shorty, at his request. Lack the of immediate challengers was one of the main reasons AJ dropped the World Title at the PPV. Styles had no problem dropping the belt so quickly.
Expect TNA to announce a national DVD distribution deal very shortly. This is good news and DVD sales are good revenue. “Enigma: The Best of Jeff Hardy” and the Destination X PPV are scheduled to go on sale next week. The Lockdown DVD will feature a tribute to the late Chris Candido as well as information on the Candido Scholarship Fund.
In a recent interview, Cassidy Riley says he will be given a contract once TNA announces its new TV deal. Riley, along with Eric Young, help out backstage in the TNA offices.
In his new column on TNAWrestling.com, Bill Banks says that:
– The Outlaw suffered a gash on his head at the Impact taping on Tuesday while Petey Williams suffered a “busted nose”
– There will be a new Raven shirt released in connection with his NWA title win
– Sonjay Dutt and several other stars will be heading to India this Fall for promotions with ESPN Star, which airs TNA there locally
– The next Impact taping is 7/19
– The 9/11 PPV will be called Unbreakable
– There will be a TNA Canada subsite debuting soon with columns by Scott D’Amore and Johnny Swinger
