We’re here live at another edition of the Sunday Night Heat, with me as your host for the Heat Wave. And we are here at the site of WWE Vengeance PPV in Las Vegas, NV. During the course of this show, I thought it be interesting, especially since we’re in Vegas where predictions are a way of life in this city, I’d give my own predictions on who will win the following matches for tonight’s PPV. And who knows, maybe this will be the new norm here on the HEAT Wave for every PPV pre- show.
The hosts for the night are Todd Grisham, Ivory, and The Coach
Coach borrows our ear for a moment as he runs down a few matches, including HBK vs. Angle and Kane vs. Edge. As we shoot over to a video package of the feud between Edge/ Lita/ and Matt… err, excuse me… Kane. Complete with the always overrated Wrestling Wedding.
MY Prediction: Kane vs. Edge: Winner; Kane. Just for the simple fact that Edge and Lita have been getting most of the last laughs the past couple of weeks.
Back from commercial we get a rewind of RAW’s newest draft pick, Carlito, who defeated Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Title on his first night on RAW. As backstage, Coach interviews Carlito who tells him he has no concerns over the rematch for the IC title later on tonight.
MY Prediction: Oohh, good one here. I really don’t know, my favor lies with Benjamin, but I can’t see WWE hot shoting the title off Carlito so soon. So… eh, what the heck, his name is just another version of mine. Winner; Carlito. Now that’s cool!
While we go back to Todd and Ivory who introduce us the Hell in the Cell Video package for HHH vs. Batista III. I know I’ve been saying that Triple H should be drafted to Smackdown, but in all actuality, I hope the winner of this match is sent to Smackdown, since RAW already has the WWE Title in their grasp. Well… go HHH! Wow, that’s a new one, didn’t think I’d ever hear myself say that.
Video Package of the WWE Title match with John Cena vs. Christian vs. Chris Jericho
MY Prediction: Winner and STILL Champ; John Cena. I know, I know, I was clamoring just a few weeks ago because I was covering a Jericho match, but I give the odds to the man I “can’t see.”
Stupid review of the RAW Diva search and I think something in here was a hype build for the Victoria vs. Christy match.
MY Prediction: Who really cares!?! Actually, I’m all for Victoria because I just simply can’t stand Christy, who by the way has no real reason to be wrestling to begin with. Winner; Victoria.
Coach welcomes us back from the break as we see Batista arriving backstage and giving autographs to two kids. Awww, how cute. But that shouldn’t be coming from Batista though, isn’t he suppose to be an ANIMAL!?!?! Anyway, vid package for HBK vs. Angle. With a backstage interview with Kurt, who has plans to show his win over Michaels at Wrestlemania wasn’t just a fluke.
MY Prediction: HBK vs. Kurt Angle- I can’t see Shawn losing twice in a row to Angle, so I see the favor being returned. Winner; HBK
World Tag Team Title Match
Heartthrobs vs. Hurricane and Rosey w/ Stacy Kiebler (Champs)
The Coach is now joined with Good ‘Ol JR and the King. Definite highlight of the match has to be Stacy’s entrance into the ring! And the titles are up for the grab as the bell sounds off. And the usual lock-up starts things off with Antonio and Rosey. With Rosey taking the early advantage. Rosey however gets overpowered by the new tag to Romeo. Another tag to Antonio which switches the momentum, well at least we know who’s the weaker link of this HT team. Hurricane now goes into the driver’s seat to take down HT. and a large flying cross body drop onto Romeo for two. And a CLOSE two count which almost got a win for HT after a double team. Outside interference from Stacy grabs HT’s attention as Rosey clothesline Romeo down and a sunset flip roll-up helps retain the belts for the super team.
Winner: Hurricane and Rosey w/ Stacy

MY Prediction: Wow, another one I don’t know. I said earlier that I want HHH to win so he can get sent over to Smackdown. Do I really mean it… yes! Do I really want HHH with the title again, not really. So I could probably just toss up a coin and hope some Vegas luck works with me picking the right win here. Winner: Batista

Heat Wave of the Night: Another review show for the most part tonight. And I’m really tempted to give the wave of the night to MY Predictions! That’s right, MINE. Actually, no I’m just kidding. Since it was the only match today, I’m giving it to the Tag Team title match. Although there wasn’t anything that spectacular, or not even coming close to the match they had last Sunday, it was ok to open up the PPV for tonight. And that does it for me, I’ll be back next week with my results from the PPV so we can all see how well, or for that matter, how bad I did. But I feel pretty confident; let’s see any one beat those picks. And yes, that includes you Aaron!
