WWE Smackdown tapings

Just got back from the Raw & Smackdown taping from Anaheim.Most heated match live was Angle vs. Flair and the crowd was definitely more into Raw than Smackdown.There were no matches taped for Heat or Velocity and the only dark match was Val Venis over Maven by pinfall.Before the six man on Raw Vince came out and said we’d all be happy with the mystery partner and to stay around for Smackdown.
Smackdown results:
Muhammed Hassan came out and said he’d win the Smackdown championship and insulted all the participants until Undertaker came out.He grabbed Hassan around the throat and Daivari hit him with a chair which Taker no sold and they both left the ring.Something must have been wrong as Hassan and Daivari both came back and Daivari was chokeslammed.
Paul London no contest with Chavo Guerrero when Mexicool interfered and laid out both guys.Juvi called himself The Juice and encouraged all the Mexicans in the crowd to rise up against the gringos and become mexicools.
Melina pinned Michelle McCool with her feet on the ropes.After the match MNM laid out Michelle with the snapshot and Heidenreich made the save.
Eddie Guerrero came out and said Rey Misterio had a secret he didn’t want revealed.They showed footage of Eddie at Rey’s son Dominic’s daycare.They were all friendly so apparently Rey doesn’t keep his son up to date on his storylines.Eddie offered Dominic some candy and said he’d tell him a bedtime story he’d never forget.It came off like Eddie was going to molest Rey’s son and there were chants of Michael Jackson.Rey came out and got on his knees begging Eddie not to tell the secret.Eddie then shoved candy in Rey’s mouth and walked off.Rey stayed in the ring for a while and tried to cry but the crowd didn’t care as a beach ball was being tossed around.
Next was the six man.Teddy Long came out and announced Christian as Big Show’s replacement.Match went about 35 minutes.Taker was first out after being dq’d for hitting Hassan with a chair shot.Hassan ran to the back and never came back as I guess he was counted out.Taker didn’t sell for anyone the whole time he was out there.Benoit got eliminated about 20 minutes in after he gave a superplex to Booker but JBL tagged himself in before the move and ddt’d Benoit and got the pin.Crowd started chanting we want Christian who hadn’t been in the ring since the beginning of the match.Christian was the clear crowd favorite from this point on.JBL kicked out of a ton of near falls from both Booker & Christian and the crowd was getting tired of it as they wanted JBL gone.Christian pinned Booker after a roll up and as he was gloating about it he got hit with the clothesline from hell and was pinned.Crowd was not happy about that.Long came out and said there was no need for a smackdown title but that JBL was the no.1 contender for the newest draft pick Batista.Batista came out and JBL attacked him but Batista came back and clotheslined JBL out of the ring and ended the show celebrating.Take care.
