It works for Survivor and other reality hits, so the WB saw no choice but to reunite their beauties and their geeks for one final get-together.
The network has scheduled a post-finale meeting of the show’s title characters for Wednesday, July 13, a week after “Geek’s” first-season finale goes to air. The reunion show, “Beauty and the Geek: The Aftermath,” will bring together all seven participants from each side of the coin.
The hour-long special, taped last week, will also uncover whether the show truly has changed the lives of its participants, true to its stated purpose as a “social experiment.” Brad and Erika, who appeared to have a budding romance during the show’s filming, will reveal whether their relationship has been sustained away from the show.
Brian McFayden, host of the series, will also handle the hosting duties for the reunion.
“Beauty and the Geek” has done well for The WB this summer, averaging about 3.8 million viewers per week and often winning its timeslot among the network’s target audience teens and young adults.
