July 11, 2005, Boca Raton, FL – Coming off of its victory at the Palm Beach Film Society’s Voices of Local Film festival, Zoom Suit, the 20-minute, feature length animated film, has been accepted into the 2005 Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival. The animated film will be aired at 3:00PM on Saturday, July 16 in room 26AB of the San Diego Convention Center as part of the film festival’s “Amazing Animation” day. There will be a Zoom Suit give-away for all that attend.

Written and directed by John Taddeo, Zoom Suit is described this way: When 12-year-old Myles Mason mistakes the U.S. top secret alien battlesuit for a Halloween costume, the world’s most unlikely superhero is born! Clothes make the man, or in this case the boy, in this superhero Cinderella story.

Starting its sixth continuous year, the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI:IFF) returns with a slate of 59 films. The CCI:IFF celebrates independent film, with the accent on genre-related entries. Featured genres include superheroes, science fiction and fantasy, pop culture-related humor, suspense, animation, and documentary. The CCI:IFF is a juried event. Respected principals in the fields of film and popular arts view submissions and decide which films are most deserving of awards and prizes.

Along with its victory at the Palm Beach Film Festival and its acceptance in the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival, Zoom Suit has also been accepted into Long Island International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Fort Lauderdale Film Festival, Shocker Fest – California, Forest Film Festival – Oregon and Boston International Film Festival.
