PWInsider.com is reporting that Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, who will retain rights to the “Dudley Boys” name after their WWE contract expires, will be facing Matt Hardy and Rhyno in their first in-ring appearance since failing to come to a contract agreement with the WWE. The match will take place at the WrestleReunion convention in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania at the Valley Forge Convention Center on Sunday, August 28th as part of the convention weekend. For more information on the convention, visit www.wrestlereunion.com.
WWE.com has also posted the following about the Dudleys:
D-Von Dudley refused to comment on WWE’s decision to part ways with himself and Bubba Ray Dudley. When asked if he would change his mind and talk at a future date, D-Von said, “I don’t think I’ll change my mind, ever.” Bubba Ray Dudley has yet to respond to an interview request WWE.com left on his voice mail on Monday. WWE.com hopes to have Bubba Ray’s comments, if he’s willing to talk, posted soon.
We’ll have an update on how Matt Hardy’s return to RAW impacts this match, if it indeed does, here on InsidePulse.com.
