Dark Horse Comics has announced the following titles at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Additional title information, release dates, and pricing will be forthcoming via press announcements through the coming year.

Ghost in the Shell 1.5: Human-Error Processor— A limited comics series from manga legend Shirow Masamune. Human-Error Processor is a series of stories originally serialized as part of Ghost in the Shell 2 but not included by Shirow in the Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface collection. The stories are Fat Cat from 1991, Drive Slave from 1992, Mines of Mind from 1995, and Lost Past from 1996. This series will be presented in non-Westerized format (reading right to left), as originally published, in black-and-white with color. Arriving spring 2006.

Recess Pieces—Written and drawn by Bob Fingerman, Recess Pieces is a 6×8, 80pg hardcover. It’s a story about kids versus zombies done only the way Bob Fingerman could do it! When everyone above puberty turns zombie it’s up to the kids to save humanity. Arriving July 2006.

The Kickback — A 96-page, hardcover, crime noir story written and drawn by David Lloyd of The Territory and V for Vendetta fame. Arriving 2006.

The Perhapanauts—Four-issue series by Todd Dezago and Craig Rousseau. A rag-tag group of misfit creatures (Bigfoot, ghosts, aliens, chupacabras) battle dark forces to save humanity. Arriving November 2005.

Eden Volume 1: It’s An Endless World! —Eden Volume I is both a brilliant love song to the post-apocalyptic survival genre and the beginning of a deep exploration on man’s role in the natural order. Graphic, cyberpunk, and philosophical, Eden is a place where endearing heroes face a constant struggle for survival and violent surprises wait around every corner! Arriving November 2, 2005.

Dracula: Book One Asylum— Part of DH Press’s coming series of prose novels based on the classic Universal Monster characters, Dracula: Book One is set against the backdrop of World War II. Dracula has returned to life and returned to the Seward Sanitarium spreading insanity and his vampire curse in a bid to dominate the world. Arriving December 2005.

Scarface—From Dark Horse’s DH Press imprint comes the first of two original Scarface novels. Starting in the years before Tony Montana’s arrival in America in the 1980s, these novels will be true to the film that has captured the imaginations of more than three generations of moviegoers. Arriving December 2005.

Penny Arcade—The online comic by gamers for gamers. This print collection of the most popular online comic ever will feature additional super cool bonus materials! Arriving December 2005.

Gungrave Anime Manga— Created by Yasuhiro Nightow, creator of Trigun, the GungraveAnime Manga comes to you as a full-color adaptation of the popular anime. Arriving January 2006.

Reiko the Zombie Shop— The heroine’s name is Reiko; she is a necromancer who gets hired to bring folks back from the dead. Part Buffy, part Sixth Sense, and part Ringu… Reiko the Zombie Shop is horror, comedy, and drama. It’s outrageous, disturbing, and funny! Arrives December 2005.

The Gremlins (classic book reissue)—Roald Dahl’s lost masterpiece! Published in 1943 and long unavailable, DH Press is proud to present this landmark book from the author of such beloved tales as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, and Matilda.
