PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson is reporting that 20th Century Fox and WWE Films will be holding industry screenings of WWE Champion John Cena’s The Marine in the near future. Taking place in LA, these screenings will gauge audience reactions of the $15 million feature film. John Bonito, known for directing the commercials for Arena Football League’s big 2004 ad campaign, is making his feature film directorial debut with this movie, which also stars Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) and Kelly Carlson (Nip/Tuck).
According to Dave Scherer at PWInsider.com, John Cena was advertised for the weekend’s RAW house shows but did not appear. According to his sources, Cena was given time off when he asked if he could attend a wedding.
