– According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com, TNA will hold a “Chris Candido Memorial Tag Team Tournament” at this Tuesday’s Impact taping at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with the hope that this will be an annual event where a younger and veteran star team up.

– Bill Banks, in his TNAWrestling.com column, says:

“As most of you read on the internet, TNA and SpikeTV officials met this past week to plan out our debut on the network. Both sides were said to be ecstatic at the new working relationship, and both offices are already working in conjunction on an upcoming media blitz to hype our start on the network. SpikeTV.com and TNAwrestling.com will also be teaming up in the upcoming months to feature several new interactive features for fans on our respective websites.”

He also confirmed that Kevin M. Sullivan has been added to the TNA production team.

– The first SpikeTV iMPACT! taping will take place on September 27, with two shows taped every other week.

– iMPACT! will debut on SpikeTV on Saturday, October 1, with Spike handling advertising for the show in exchange for the programming. TNA is likely not paying for the timeslot after all.

– Jeff Hardy will appear on Sunday’s Sacrifice PPV, and is said to be very motivated to return. Jonny Fairplay, currently starring on “Kill Reality,” will be returning soon due to Dixie Carter wanting him there.

– TNA’s October 23 Bound For Glory PPV will be it’s “Wrestlemania-like” event, with a fan fest taking place the day before.
