Second only to Kaysar’s “No, I just sealed your partner’s fate” comment to Maggie have I been so gitty after an episode of Big Brother. I was literally laughing and jumping out of my seat when Janelle won HoH tonight. It was the perfect cap to a stellar episode.
Starting off with Howie’s rants to April…I’ve been waiting for that all season. Someone needed to put that scab in her place, and I was so glad I got to watch it play out, topped off with her crying at the toilet. I was watching her sob over Howie bringing her husband and her dog into the game, and how unfair it was, and thinking to myself, “Haven’t you been doing that since day one?” She’s been the player I despise most in this game. There’s playing the game, then there is what April does. She’s just slimy. Go ahead Howie, make all the dog and hubby comments you want. America loves it.
I must say I was surprised with Ivette’s mature handling of the situation, and trying to circle her herd back into line. She’s done a complete 180° from the days of riding on Cappy’s coat tails. Although, it does seem like she’s chosen James as her new father/boyfriend/brother figure in the game. Can’t say these attachments of hers are all to healthy.
Speaking of unhealthy attachments, how long do you figure until Sarah realizes what James really thinks about her? Sure, he loves her, but Dear Gebus, how screwed up can one relationship be?
Oh, but the sweetest part was Janelle winning HoH. Running over to get her key from Jenn, she screamed out, “Give me the f’ing key, you f’ing bitch!” Classic. Just as classic was Creepy Jenn tossing it aside so Janie had to go get it. Not that it brought down the screams of pleasure coming out of Howie’s mouth. I’ve watched the clip I downloaded off the net at least 5 times, now. He was more excited than Janie was…but can you blame him? How awful would it have been after his week of harassment and confrontations for him to have to curb it all to save himself. He took that comment from April about his finger like a champ. It is AWN!
And Janie’s expression when she was announcing her nominations. So sweet. So full of smiles. So matter-of-fact. I couldn’t ask for a better non-verbal f-you. After I saw the looks of shock on the Nerd Herd’s faces, I had to run to my computer to catch the live feeds. And they didn’t disappoint. Janie has the Friendship
They better keep Beau in their sites, though. I see him slipping through to the end, if they don’t bump him off soon. We all know James will worm his way into the final 4 or so, but I got to admit, the boy’s played the game like it needs to be played. Rachel, Howie, and Janelle need to worry about the other members of the Herd before they set their sites on him. Yeah, don’t trust a word he says, but there are bigger fish to fry.
Unfortunately, even if Howie, Rachel, and Janie win HoH from here on out, the jury will be chock full of Nerd Herd-ers. Unless two of them get to the final two, we can pretty safely bet who’ll win the game overall.
