Ordinarily, when the Power of Veto Competition takes place, we get a shot of the fishtank in the house until the comp is over. This tends to last anywhere from half and hour to two hours max. After more than five hours of the fishtank today, people who frequent Big Brother Live Feed Forums got a little testy. A few phone numbers were posted both from CBS and RealPlayer, and some folks gave them a call.
Word on the boards is that the Live Feeds will be out until all competitions have been completed:
– POV
– POV ceremony
– Nominations
– Eviction
These are all assumed to be completed by this evening.
– The Second HoH Ceremony
– Second Nominations
These set to take place tomorrow morning.
In another forum, the Admin got in touch with one of the producers at CBS, who issued this statement:
The BIG BROTHER 6 24/7 internet feed is temporarily
unavailable so that certain competitive results are
not revealed in advance of Saturday’s broadcast.
The BIG BROTHER 6 internet feeds will resume after
Saturday’s broadcast.

CBS has blacked out feeds until Saturday evening’s TV broadcast (9pm PT /12am ET) in order to avoid revealing the secret plot and spoiling any surprises for viewers of the TV show.
During the Big Brother season, CBS sometimes needs to limit, delay, or block the live camera feeds. When this happens, you may see the fish tank with a “Be right back!” message.
If you see this image, the feed is not down. CBS reserves the right to block or limit camera feeds at these times:
– When the live show airs (Tuesdays 9pm ET/PT, Thursdays and Saturdays 8PM ET/PT).
– During potentially inappropriate scenes (including nudity or other adult rated situations).
– Intermittently during houseguest challenges, preparation for the live show, and other times chosen by CBS.
Because CBS airs the program on both television and the Internet, this keeps the content new and original for all viewers of the TV show.
