The Dudley Boyz, initially billed as that for Wrestle Reunion 2 had their name switched to “Team 3D” on the event’s Web site.
Bob Ryder at 1Wrestling.com is reporting that they are calling themselves “BRD” and “D-Von” and signing autographs as “B R Dudley” and “D-Von.” They criticized WWE and praised TNA for the respective promotions’ handling of tag wrestling, and said they’ll be going to Japan soon.
According to PWInsider.com, Team 3D faced Matt Hardy and Rhino in the main event at Wrestle Reunion, pinning Hardy after an accidental gore followed by a 3-D. Matt Hardy was accompanied to the ring by Talia.
WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that there was a disagreement this weekend since Hardy was supposed to be at RAW house shows, but had committed to being at the convention. He had signed the contract, so he appeared at Wrestle Reunion; Eric Bischoff said that Hardy was banned from the building at the San Juan house show in order to cover this from a storyline perspective.
