[WWE] News on Vader, Deep South Wrestling, More

Archive

– Former WCW World Champion Vader has signed a WWE Legends deal.

– WWE has signed Ray Gordy, son of the late Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy, to a developmental deal. PWInsider.com is reporting that he may train in Deep South Wrestling, after appearing in Pro Wrestling NOAH and elsewhere in his short, four-year career.

– PWInsider.com is reporting that according to a source, the recent stories of Bill DeMott having heat due to running a bootcamp-like camp at Deep South Wrestling is incorrect. The source told Mike Johnson that DeMott has not threatened anyone verbally, but has reiterated that if they don’t work hard, they risk getting cut — a statement that is nothing new to the trainees.

– In other Deep South news, they are preparing for a TV show, which will be run in the future by the new promotion. Jeff G. Bailey will likely be editing the program, as well as playing a manager role on-air, with Steven Prazak expected to be the lead announcer. No word yet on where this program will air.
