TNA Management is working on securing some big names as their Spike TV debut looms closer. The decision by Mick Foley to go back to the WWE was a little disappointing, but the company is hard at work on getting some others. Kevin Nash is rumored to be coming back, considering he’s prominently featured in the promotional poster for Bound For Glory. Other possible free agents TNA is looking at include Sting, Goldberg and Chris Jericho.
After months of teasing and speculation, TNA looks close to be finalizing a video game deal, although a publisher or developer is still unknown. Bill Banks had gone so far to say in his online column that an announcement could be expected at Unbreakable, but the statement was pulled due to the deal not being finalized yet.
Two former WWE Divas, Jackie Gayda and Gail Kim, are rumored to be on their way to TNA, although Gayda can’t join until October, when her no-compete clause expires.
Expect Austin Aries to return to TNA at the Unbreakable PPV on 9/11 after impressing TNA management with his match against Christopher Daniels. How he will be used is unknown at this time. Also likely to be added to the PPV line-up is a match between Sabu and Abyss.
TNA is sending Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy and Simon Diamond and a camera crew to India on 9/20 to promote the company.
