According to SpikeDudley.net and 1Wrestling.com’s Bob Ryder, Matt Hyson has been sent a cease and desist letter from WWE regarding the Dudley name that WWE has trademarked. Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley have received the same letter, which came as a surprise to some, who felt that Paul Heyman had promised the Dudleyz that they would own their name wherever they worked, since they used the names well before working at WWE. Of course, as previously reported, Heyman never followed through on that promise and WWE trademarked the names.
