[WWE] Update on Heidenreich, WWE Marketing, Linda at Industry Conference

– WWE.com has updated the Heidenreich story. He has heard from his wife and kids, and is heading down to New Orleans tonight to see what he can do to help. He still hasn’t heard from his father, who is okay and recovering in Harahan, LA. Our best wishes go out to the Heidenreich family and everyone affected by the hurricane and its aftermath.

– WWE plans to promote the move of Smackdown to Fridays with: national promotional TV spots, radio spots in the top 12 markets, bus and subway advertisements in the top 5 SD markets, and heavy Internet advertising.

– Linda McMahon is speaking at the September 9th Association for Corporate Growth meeting. Entitled “No Boundaries in this Ring,” Linda will discuss “WWE’s growth story, including its plans to become the global champs of action-adventure by pinning the international market, suplexing Hollywood, and super kick-starting digital media platforms to drive shareholder value to new heights.” This takes place beginning 7:45am ET at the Stamford Marriott in CT.
