10 Years – The Autumn Effect Review

Link: 10 Years

The Inside Pulse:
A new band started in 2002, 10 Years releases their first disc, The Autumn Effect. At first listen, this album is very reminiscent of a Staind album or a Tool album, so let’s hope they don’t get lost in the pack.

Positives:
A very melodic album, this is definitely an album to either totally chill out to, or to cry your eyes out.

Negatives:
Not a whole lot of selection between tracks. While there are 13 tracks, there isn’t a whole lot of range.

Cross-breed:
Maynard from Tool meets Staind.

Reason to buy:
It’s good to listen to a couple of times, but it will easily be lost in a music collection very quickly. Nothing on here will blow anyone away.
