Survivor Guatemala 'Spoilers' : Episode Two Spoilers

Archive

The second episode of Survivor is called “Man Down”. The show will cover events from days 4-6, occuring on June 30, July 1, July 2.

Generally, the title phrase refers to when a fireman / police office is injured, and assistance is needed. This might be in reference to last week’s evictions, since Jim was a retired fire captain. Other sources feel this is in reference to a possible competition similar to one from Survivor Thailand, where contestants had to drag a full-size, full-weight dummy though the sand, to “save”. Although, with all the attention Blake and his injury got last ep, I wouldn’t be all too shocked if the “Man Down” reference means he’ll be leaving.

Recently, an article from the Toronto Star newspaper describes how the locals of Guatemala felt about the Survivors in their back yard. Among other things, the artcile references a laborer who spilled the beans on quite a few things, including how CBS staffers left fruit in trees for the Survivors to gather, and a “fat young man” who lost 40kilos (88lbs) during his stay in Guatemala.
