Hardcore Homecoming drew an estimated between 500 (according to WrestlingObserver.com) and 600 (1Wrestling.com) fans in Cleveland last night. Following are match results and notes from the show:
– Blue Meanie b Tracy Smothers
– Danny Doring b Chris Chetti
– New Jack (who ran around the arena before doors opened with a chainsaw) b Roadkill by pinning ref Mike Kehner
– Raven b Rhino (apparently the best match, prior to which Raven blamed Rhino for helping to kill ECW)
– Shane Douglas won three-way over Jerry Lynn and Sabu, with Jerry Lynn looking great
– Dudley Boyz (unnamed) b Balls Mahoney & Ian Rotten (Axl was initially supposed to appear but had personal problems, so Ian competed despite having a skull fracture. Ian left the building all bloodied up from his match.)
– Sandman b Justin Credible in a cane match
– Mikey Whipwreck was a no show without telling the staff
– Raven will not be at tonight’s Pittsburgh show due to a prior engagement (making an appearance at a Bar Mitzvah)
