The brutal battle between Angle and Cena came to an end when the referee disqualified the champ for using his WWE Championship belt as a weapon. As a result, Angle won the match. But Cena is still the champ.
This clears up any question of who the Champ is following tonight’s Pay Per View, since Bischoff ranted and raved after Cena lost by DQ.
Also on the PPV, Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade won the World Tag Team Titles from Hurricane & Rosey, and Ric Flair beat Carlito to win the Intercontinental Belt for the first time in his illustrious career.
