Commercials aired on NBC, during The Office, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O’Brien tonight, promoting RAW’s return to USA Network, and mentioning Cena, Hogan and HHH by name while showing clips of other RAW superstars.
Also on NBC, the Big Show was a guest on Conan. Here are some notes:
Conan introduced the Big Show after a clip of him double-chokeslamming and double-pinning two wrestlers.
Conan asks him about being recognized while traveling and he tells a story about a lady who once asked him if he wore a mask and he replied “should I?”
He also talked about traveling in Japan and the sumo match he had vs. Akebono at Wrestlemania and how it was a bit demoralizing having little Japanese people wrap him in silk.
There are several comments about Big Show being a bit turned on by Martha Stewart (another guest on the show) which were disturbing yet funny.
Big Show talks about the first action figure he saw of himself, which had a red button on it that you would push, making the doll vibrate, emulating Show being “angry.” He said it “didn’t do it for me.” Then he showed a new teddy bear Big Show doll that was similar to the HBK doll Eugene carried out to the ring on the last RAW.
