Judge D – No Compromize Review

The Inside Pulse: From the Suburban Noize imprint, which specializes in rap/rock hybrids, comes Judge D. After generating some mild buzz with his debut album Rollin’ Stoned, he drops his sophomore effort No Compromize. Is it worth a percentage of your paycheck?

Positives: “Voicez”, featuring Tech N9ne, is the album’s standout track, as N9ne rips the beat up. That’s about it.

Negatives: Where to begin? The production value is awful. There are so many vocal effects that what Judge D is saying is unintelligible. Good thing the CD booklet contains the lyrics. The album is a mishmash of rap/rock, and it’s been done a lot better by many other people. It basically sounds like an album full of songs Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit rejected.

Cross-breed: Limp Bizkit meets Kid Rock meets Insane Clown Posse meets P.O.D meets Linkin Park meets Papa Roach meets (insert generic rap/rock band here)…

Reason to avoid: Judge D sets the rap/rock movement back a few decades with this poorly made, insipid album. Save your money for a dime bag.
