The Crucifix

Ok, I’m going to blow right through this this week because I’m sore, tired and I have to take a shower before Raw. No, you can’t join me, especially you Phil Mushnick. Ahh, Phil Mushnick. I get an email last week telling me all the good in the world that Phil does, like he’s the white Oprah. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s still working at The Post and couldn’t put McMahon behind bars. End of story, stop emailing me about it.

Another thing before I get to my column…

Dear Fox Sports,

When I tune in to see the Yankees play the Red Sox, the last thing I care to watch is the Chicago/Cleveland game. Give me an update and let me know the score, please don’t turn the Yankee game into 1/8 OF THE DAMN SCREEN. I don’t want to watch the Indians choke. Additionally, fire Joe Buck. He sucks and his disdain for the Yankees shows through to ludicrous levels. Thank you.

Sincerely,

– Warrior DVD: Not as horrible of a hack job as was indicated. The really bad thing about the DVD is the production. A third grader with palsy and one finger could have done a better job than whoever did this thing. I’m not saying I didn’t like the content (Christian is an ace by the way), but it just seemed so thrown together. Maybe that was the goal, to make people hate watching it. But overall, it’s just not put together well and the viewer suffers for it.

Now one would expect that the DVD leaves no loose ends and what not, but it does. The reason it does is Warrior’s response. Now you can decipher the words of Warrior here. Basically he attacks the people that are seen in the commercial, which is fine. However, after watching the DVD some things make sense. I’ll give you my opinion of whom I believe in different situations.

Bobby Heenan – I believe him. Brain is too funny and really has no reason to lie. You can see from the press slam Warrior delivered that he really didn’t have a care in the world about Heenan. Additionally, the story about Warrior working with Andre just sounds too true for it to be a lie. There is no reason for Warrior to basically show happiness over Heenan’s cancer at all. That’s just sophomoric.

Jim Ross – JR really doesn’t have too much insight into everything with Warrior, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he didn’t deserve such a long response from Warrior. I believe JR, because he is probably running on stuff he’s heard.

Triple H – I’m kind of torn here. I can see Triple H trying to pull some shit before his match with Warrior. I can see Warrior going nuts. Then again Warrior was running on fumes at the time and it was a desperation comeback. Never the less, at the time Triple H was expendable and in the middle of a run that saw him lose a bunch. If he did open his mouth, Warrior probably went off and told him to stick it while mentioning cockpit doors and or something. Tie here.

Vince McMahon – Tie here as well. Simply stated, Warrior and Davey did take the steroid fall for him. On the DVD Vince states, “We had a stringent drug policy, and it was broken.” Never did he mention “I was indicted and peeing myself to sleep.” So I believe Warrior when he says that he took the fall with Smith. In regards to Summerslam 91 when Warrior “held up” Vince for money and then got fired, it’s a toss up. Warrior states that it was in regards to a payoff for Wrestlemania, while Vince states he just randomly wanted more money or he wasn’t going on. Who sounds more truthful? Warrior. He may be nuts, but what reason would he have for saying he wouldn’t perform? He lays out the entire scenario in a way that Vince doesn’t come close to on the DVD. So now we’re tied. Now Warrior doesn’t say anything about the lawsuit he filed and wound up getting the rights to his name out of, but Vince does. However, no real details are given other than it was for 6 million dollars and he wound up getting his name rights out of it. So throw that away and we are still tied.

End of the day, this DVD does just as much to make WWE look bad as it does Warrior. It may not look like it to the casual fan, but to us it will. Vince should “ring the f*cking bell” on these types of projects before it gets out of hand.

– Brock Lesnar has a new look including an ugly ass tattoo of a sword of some sort going from his stomach to his neck. In my honest and humble opinion, Brock will leave New Japan soon because the food isn’t too good. While giving Vince a hummer, he’ll look up and beg for him to restart the XFL.

– Raw is 3 hours tonight, and I’ve got it on good word that this man may just be there. Don’t click if you don’t want it spoiled. If he’s not there, I just took 10 seconds off of your life.

Alright boys and girls, I’m off to the shower…DON’T TOUCH ME YOU SICK FREAK…I’ll be back later in the week. Adios!
