According to PWInsider.com, Kevin Von Erich was telling people backstage that the deal for the WCCW video library (to WWE) is “done.”
Also from PWInsider: backstage, but not appearing on camera, was Rob Van Dam. He is expected back around January. Shelton Benjamin beat Tyson Tomko in a “special” dark match before the RAW taping began.
During commercials, WWE.com showed various segments, including full ring entrances for all the Legends, HHH fighting Flair up the ramp and post-show conclusion of the RAW vs. Smackdown brawl, which ended with the SD wrestlers walking off up the ramp as Cena celebated on Big Show’s shoulders.
Also on WWE.com, Bobby Heenan and Vince McMahon give comments on the Homecoming, AM RAW is introduced and Matt Hardy has been removed from the RAW roster page.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Matt Hardy will be moved to Smackdown, and he was told on September 19 that he’d be moving to SD after going over strong in the cage match. Click here for subscription info.
