[WWE] More on WWE Legal “Threats” vs. Hardcore Homecoming and TNA

Archive

WWE legal threats have not halted Hardcore Homecoming DVD sales or house shows, as was feared a few weeks back. The Buffalo show was canceled as Hardcore Homecoming’s promoters felt it wasn’t worth the battle, since the arena wanted legal indemnity which would not protect them from post-show fights.

WWE legal sent TNA a letter demanding they not call wrestlers “superstars” or “wrestling superstars” as these are WWE trademarked terms. Bill Banks and the TNA Web team is calling them “TNA stars” instead.
