*Hirooki Goto & Minoru retained IWGP jr. tag title over Negro Casas & Felino (CMLL)
*Kendo Kashin & Manabu Nakanishi b Charlie Haas & Mark Jindrak
*Matt Morgan b Yuji Nagata
*Black Tiger (Rocky Romero) b Tiger Mask to retain NWA jr. title and win IWGP jr. title
*Hiroshi Tanahashi & Shinsuke Nakamura b Yoji Anjo & Toshiaki Kawada
*Brock Lesnar won the IWGP title in a three-way over champ Kazuyuki Fujita and Masahiro Chono after giving both opponents the re-named F5: “The Verdict” and pinning Chono. This makes Lesnar the first person to hold both the WWE and IWGP titles. Hulk Hogan won the first IWGP tournament but a title wasn’t instituted until the 1987 tourney.
