InsidePulse’s WWE RAW Report 10.10.05

The WWE Homecoming last week on RAW did not go well for the McMahons, as a returning Stone Cold Steve Austin delivered Stunners to each member of the family. Backstage after being hit with the move, Mr. McMahon promised that somebody would be getting fired as a result. Who will be out of a job? Watch RAW tonight to find out.

Triple H and Ric Flair have stood side by side for years. The 16-time World Champion Flair has even called Triple H the greatest professional wrestler of all time and his best friend. But Ric Flair has also called him the Cerebral Assassin more times than he can count, and the Cerebral Assassin took him out last week on RAW. After saving Triple H from being blasted with a sledgehammer at the hands of Chris Masters, Ric Flair had his skull bashed in with that very same sledgehammer. Triple H then beat Flair to a pulp, dragging him up the ramp and backstage until finally tossing him in a limo, asking him the question, “What were you thinking?” the whole time. No one can know for sure what Triple H meant by that question, but hopefully he will give everyone some answers tonight on RAW.

Plus, after WWE Champion John Cena defeated RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff to retain the championship, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long sent his SmackDown troops to the ring, “gangsta style”. During WWE Homecoming last week, Bischoff refused to allow Long’s SmackDown match to take place. Long retaliated by sending out his SmackDown Superstars to the ring to beat on Cena and Angle. Moments later, though, the RAW locker room emptied out to even the odds. What will be RAW’s response to SmackDown’s antics last week?

Don’t miss all this and more this week on RAW at 9/8 CT on the USA Network.

By the way, I will be checking out this WWE.com which is suppose to be going on in the commercials, unless I get tired of it or it’s super boring. It will all be in italics.

Lillian Garcia comes out and sings the national anthem. She then introduces JR, King, and Coach to the commentators table.

The new WWE THE POWER IS BACK intro seems to be permanent.

Video package of the Stunner-fest.

LIVE from Corpus Christi, Texas
Hosts are Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, & Johnathan Coachman

Stephanie McMahon comes right out to start the show, and I must say she’s looking pretty good. Steph goes over what went down last week, and is pissed that the fans enjoyed it so much. She runs down why people don’t like her, when she sees fit to slap the wrap-it-up guy, as well as Lillian. Stephanie says that her father is on her way here, and somebody is getting fired. She then stands on top of announce table and proclaims the bitch being back.

Commercial break. Todd Grisham asks the fans who they think will get fired, and most say JR, with a few Bischoffs.

Doink the Clown vs. Rob Conway
Doink gets some quick near falls, as well as a sunset flip. Doink conducts the crowd in his favor, but Conway opens a can of whup-ass. One Ego-Trip later, and Conway continues his winning streak.

Afterwards, Conway calls out the legends and continues to beat on Doink. Eugene looks to make the save, but he just gets Ego-Tripped.

Video package is shown of HHH’s turn.

Commercial break. They set up Carlito’s Cabana, and Carlito himself comes out.

Carlito’s Cabana time, as Carlito promises Stephanie McMahon that if he would have known what was going on, he would have personally spit in Austin’s face. Carlito goes on to talk about who should be the #1 contender for the WWE Championship, when Kurt Angle walks out. Angle says that everyone saw him kick the living hell out of HBK, when Michaels comes out to a big pop. Shawn brings up the sudden death opportunity which Kurt ditched, but Kurt says he isn’t scared of anybody. The Big Show comes out of nowhere and says that he doesn’t have to wait in line. Show challenges anybody to tell him he can’t have the shot, which is Edge’s cue. Carlito calls Edge out and says that nobody would mind if he got fired. He also says that he himself should be the #1 contender. John Cena finally comes out to the ramp to a big pop and actually raps on all the opponents. Cena says that he’ll face them all, because he just doesn’t give a ______.

Commercial break.Maria interviews Bischoff backstage about who could get fired. He also announces Cena, HBK, & Show vs Angle, Edge, & Carlito.

Chris Masters vs. Tajiri
Tajiri jumps him from the pyro and gets a spinning heel kick for 2. Masters overpowers him, but he runs into the Tarantula. Kick to the face gets 2 for Tajiri. He goes for the Buzzsaw, but Masters ducks and hooks on the Master Lock to end it.

Backstage, HHH walks into some unhappy wrestlers and owns Cena in an exchange of words.

Commercial break. Some good signs are pointed out.

HHH comes out to the ring and asks if the fans have a problem with what he did. They respond with a “yes”, but he doesn’t care. Hunter says that he worshipped Flair and takes credit for pulling him back together and making him look great again. He says that Ric was the man again, but once he won the IC belt, Hunter had to take the horse and put him down. HHH wasn’t going to let his memories of Ric be tarnished. Fans chant “we want Flair”, which just helps Hunter prove his point. HHH finishes the promo by saying that Ric is no longer the dirtiest player in the game.

Commercial break.Edge complains to Eric about JBL’s comments on RAW and how he wasn’t mentioned in them.

The Rock talks about Doom.

Trish Stratus(c) vs. Victoria – Women’s Championship match
No women allowed at ringside. Trish dodges a clothesline with the Matrish and hits the Chick Kick. She goes for the Stratusfaction, but Vic counters it with a backbreaker. Vertical suplex allows Vic to set up Stratus on the top turnbuckle. Trish fights back, but ‘Toria millitary presses her. Victoria works on the back and covers Trish for 2. Stratus comes back and goes for the Stratusphere, but Vic counters it into the boston crab. Stratus counters that and gets 2. Victoria looks to stay one step ahead by going for the Widow’s Peak, but Trish counters it into a modified northern lights suplex for 3.

Afterwards, Victoria looks to put the hurting on Trish, but Ashley runs down for the save. It proves no good, and then some new chick comes down and kicks Vic’s ass.

Commercial break.Torrie and Candice run out to help Victoria to the back.

Backstage, the new girl introduces herself to Trish and Ashley. Go to http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1222301/bio or http://wrestling.insidepulse.com/articles/43540 to find out more about her.

Carlito, Kurt Angle, & Edge vs. Shawn Michaels, Big Show, & John Cena
Vince arrives in a limo during Edge’s entrance. Cena and Edge start out, but Carlito quickly gets tagged in. Cena backdrops out of the situation, and in comes Big Show. Big chop in the corner, as Angle and Edge try to help out their partner. It’s to no avail as Show stacks them all up in the corner and splashes them.

Commercial break.HBK takes Carlito into the corner for the 10 punch. CCC counters a whip but eats elbow. Angle eventually tags in, and the heels work over Michaels. Michaels comes back with a reverse elbow and tags in Cena.

Kurt hits a belly to belly suplex, and Edge tags in to pound away. Edge starts to drop the elbows and works him over. Carlito now in, but Cena counters a vertical suplex into one of his own. HBK comes in and hits the flying forearm. Inverted atomic drop on Carlito, as Shawn looks to drop the elbow. He does, and it’s time to tune up the band, to much delight of the crowd. Angle intercepts it with a clothesline however, and Carlito picks up 2. Kurt tags in and he totally pounds away. A suplex gets a 2 count, twice. Michaels gets sent to the outside, where Edge finds his opportunity to hit the spear as we cut to a:

Commercial break.Carlito comes in and stays on control of HBK. The heels work him over, and Kurt comes in to get a vertical suplex for 2, twice.

Shawn tries to fight back, but Angle gets a belly to belly suplex for 2(via Cena). Carlito once again tags in, but Michaels fights back, only to run into a ring post. CCC picks up 2. Dropkick gets 2. Shawn fights out of a chinlock with a back suplex, and Show and Angle get tagged in. BS calls for the Chokeslam, but Edge tries to stop him. He looks to get Chokeslammed as well, but they both fight out, only to get double clotheslined. Show calls for the “you can’t see me”, and in comes Cena with the 5 Knuckle Shuffle for 2. Kurt applies the ankle lock, but Cena counters it into one of his own! Angle rolls him up for the victory! Good match.

Commercial break.Backstage, Vince insures Eric that he won’t fire him tonight.

Mr. McMahon makes his way to the ring, as it’s firing time. McMahon says that what Austin did last week will not be forgotten or forgiven. So he goes on to who should be fired tonight. He cancels out Bischoff, as it wasn’t his fault. The person to blame is Steve Austin, but Vince decides against it. The real people to blame are the people who enjoyed the fiasco – those people being the fans. Vince says he would like for the people to be WWE employees just so he could fire them. Since he can’t do that, he calls on the commentators to come to the ring. He expects an apology from all three of them, as they did nothing as Stephanie and Linda got Stunned. Coach and Jerry cooperate nicely, but JR only apologizes for the Stunning of Linda. Vince asks for Stephanie to come out and get an apology herself. JR repeats the apology of Linda, so he gets slapped. Shane is called out, but instead out walks Linda. She says that you have to take action and personally fires JR. She gives him a low blow as we go off the air.

End.
