[RAW] Who Will Replace J.R.?

Archive

PWTorch.com is reporting that with UFC’s Mike Goldberg signing a contract renewal with the MMA organization rather than deciding to work with WWE and replace the recently “fired” Jim Ross, two possibilities being considered for J.R.’s replacement are Smackdown’s Josh Mathews and ECW play-by-play man Joey Styles. Mathews, a Tough Enough 1 finalist, currently does backstage interviews on Smackdown and play-by-play for WWE.com’s Velocity. Styles, co-owner of 1wrestling.com, recently signed a deal with WWE to do ECW-related announcing on WWE 24/7, DVDs, PPVs, etc.

Assuming J.R. isn’t coming back any time soon, if at all, what should WWE do with the RAW announce team now that J.R. has been released in the storylines? Vote now in our poll in the Inside Pulse Reader Forums!
