This issue picks up right where last issue left off, as Green Arrow and Black Lightning take on Killer Frost and Mirror Master (thus the title: Cold Reflections) on their way to find Dr. Light. And that pretty much sums up this issue, as the entire thing is the mammoth battle between these two teams. That’s not to make light of the book (oh jeez…pardon the pun), because A) it’s a hell of a fight, and B) both the dialogue and inner monologue of the characters are very well done. It takes either a really good writer or a really good artist to make an all-battle issue work, and thankfully Judd Winick is a really good writer…in my opinion, anyway. Ron Garney, to be honest, isn’t my favourite artist. Actually, I don’t really like his style at all. However, he did a solid job on this book bringing Judd’s script to life.
