The Weekly Pulse: TV's Second Wife

Archive

Okay..well my time was VERY limited this week. Too many tests and other random stuff. Therefore, you won’t read my usual funny self. I don’t even know if that sentence made any sense at all. But whatever..I don’t have the time.

Yeah..this week I am mailing it in! Call me a slacker if you want, but we’ve all been there. So you’ll just have to shed a tear and read what other people have written this week. Have no fear..I will be back next week with my usual AWESOMENESS!

Oh wait..I did write a poem and it’s dedicated to ‘The O.C.’. Baseball REALLY sucks now that the Cardinals are out of it! So now it’s just two weeks until the return of the show that I recap! That could affect my free time as well, but I have done it before and I am sure I can do it again! Alright..lets get this party going!

Seinfeld Quote of the Week

“Mmm… boy, that Hennigan’s goes down smooth. And afterwards you don’t even smell. That’s right folks. I’ve just had three shots of Hennigan’s and I don’t even smell. Imagine: you can walk around drunk all day. That’s Hennigan’s: no smell, no tell, Scotch.”Kramer

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

Mathan Erhardt is back and you know what that means! More TV watching from him! You have ‘Rome’, ‘Lost’, ‘Desperate Housewives’, etc. Too many to list here. Find out which TWO shows ruled TV this week..plus the “Battle of the Phil’s” is decided! And how about a spinoff?! Sure..he’s got it!

Murtz talks with the next person eliminated from ‘The Apprentice: Martha Stewart’. That would be Shawn Killinger. This was one of Murtz’s favorites, so he is sure to bring the love here! And then he finds time to talk to the next person gone from ‘The Apprentice’! That would be Jennifer Wallen.

Sarah Quigley talks about ‘The Apprentice’ and about the women of show. This is because she likes the show and she is a woman. You see..that is how it works.

Matt Basilo is the riddle man this week. He has a riddle for you and he also comments on ‘Lost’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, and ‘Smallville’. Plus, a ‘Happy Days’ fact. A light edition this week, but it’s Monday and baseball still sucks!

Dora Malone likes women on top. Hmm..I could say something here, but I won’t. Yeah..me too. Opps..anyways..she talks about ‘Survivor’ and how she thinks the women RULE! Yay for her!

Farah Syed is just like Chris Rock. That’s what she said after watching ‘Everybody Hates Chris’. She can relate to him. I don’t exactly relate to him, but it’s great show. So everyone should check it out after checking out what Farah says!

Paul Gilchriest checks in with his comments on ‘Survivor’. You know the drill!

Kevin Wong talks about a show I have never heard of. He also has predictions for ‘Survivor’ and ‘The Amazing Race’. Take a look at those and bet with your friends on how wrong they will be! HA! I kid. But still check it out, because it’s good stuff!

Recaps a.k.a. No Time to Write Witty Comment #2

Matt Basilo has some ‘Smallville’ for you! Fly like an eagle! Okay..I will stop with the “flying” jokes. It’s superman!

Kevin Wong still likes ‘Numb3rs’, but that is like me saying I still like California. He also loves to run with the families in ‘The Amazing Race’.

John Duran has the ABC double feature with a ‘Desperate Housewives’ update for the week. He seems tired of the show..I still watch it, because it’s “quality time” for me. Well..not just me, but that is another story. And then ‘Lost’, which no one is tired of yet!

Kevin Wong ran along side you as watched ‘The Amazing Race’ this week. How he could still type and run at the same time..I will never know..but he did! Oh..his prediction was RIGHT! Wow!

Paul Meeking returns for the double dose of ‘Apprentice’ for you. First up..we have Martha. Then..we have Donald. Read them both!

Tim Stevens has ‘Nip/Tuck’. And it had a killer ending according to him! Find out what it is!

Joey Hart has ‘The Biggest Loser’ for you. Go learn some workout tricks!

Craig Russell has ‘Gilmore Girls’. And the show is on a roll according to him. Roll with Craig now!

Trevor MacKay has ‘Invasion’ for you. Go read it!

Sarah Jane Correia starts off next week’s ‘Survivor’ madness with the LIVE recap of this week’s show!

This week we only had ONE DVD review! That’s right..just 1!

Robert Sutton has a classic show for you. It’s Alfred Hitchcock Presents – Season One. I don’t care for it, but if you like it..you might consider getting it. Read what Robert has to say first, though.

Celebrities, SPOILERS, and News a.k.a. No Time to Write Witty Comment #3

Former ‘Apprentice’, John, is back in black and has some more comments on ‘The Apprentice’.

Former ‘Apprentice’, Michael, is back as well to give his thoughts on ‘The Apprentice’. He talks about ice cream among other things!

Erin has some more fashion of ‘The Apprentice’. With some Halloween costume suggestions!

Finally, former ‘Apprentice’, Nick finishes us off for this week’s round of ‘The Apprentice’ thoughts!

The Weekly Pulse Weekly Poll

Last week I asked the question…”what do you think about reality shows?”. And the results are sort of what I expected. Here they are:

I like both reality and traditional shows equally! – 1
I like reality shows more than traditional shows! – 5
I like traditional shows more than reality shows! – 5
I don’t like either kind of show! – 0

So it looks like everyone is split on what type of show they like. Half the people like reality shows and half like traditional shows. Basically..I figured that would happen. But I am little surprised that it was a tie. I guess that just means that reality shows will be sticking around for awhile, since TV networks know that both kinds of shows can bring in the viewers.

Now to this week’s question, which is nothing really. I came up with a question, but I took the easy way out and just asked you…”what do you think about ‘The O.C.’?” Simple question. Do you hate it or love it? Did you like it before, but now have lost interest? Give me your thoughts! I want to know since this week I have a written a poem. It’s coming..so hang on tight! But first..VOTE OR DIE!

Time to Talk a.k.a. A California Poem!!

So I did manage to write this little poem while I was bored during school. That is all I could manage to write this week. It will have to hold you over until next week. Here you go..ENJOY!

“A California Poem”

Back to California,
Here I come,
Two more weeks,
Until I get me some.

The wait has been long,
Was it worth it?
Will it be memorable,
Or something to forget?

Give me more Seth,
Give me more Sandy,
Because that Cohen family,
Is much like me.

So much drama,
But nothing happens at all (HA! HA!),
Will Marissa and Ryan stay together,
Or suffer a big fall?

Evil lurks around every corner,
How will it all turn out,
No one knows for sure,
But it’s something to talk about.

Don’t lost hope..fans,
The O.C. can still be great,
Just hang on tight,
Because you can’t fight fate!

Okay..well that does it for me this week. Any comments, questions, or suggestions are always welcome, especially on my poem. Make sure to vote on the poll and read up on the week that was. You know what to do.

“When you are at the VERY bottom, it can only get better..you can ONLY go up!”

“I’m going to be hot before it gets hot!”

Finally..“You Can’t Fight Fate!”. See you next week!

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
