My apologies for lateness, I know the WWE.com podcast was up early Saturday and this is Monay afternoon. My computer doesn’t always agree with WWE.com’s online broadcast.

– Hosts: Josh “wow, I get to PBP 2 title matches tonight!” Matthews & Steve “that doesn’t make my job any better” Romero.

Juventud Guerrera (c) v. Paul London – WWE Cruiserweight Championship
A GOOD start to Velocity? Wow! For good sportsmanship, the 2 shake hands to begin. After the lockout London gets a hammerlock, Juventud reverses it into one of his own. Side headlock from London, Juvi shoots him off to the ropes but gets knocked down by London’s shoulder. They shake hands again. London again gets a hammerlock, then turns it into a schoolboy for 2. Juventud comes back with one of his own for 2. They leapfrog over each other and then London sweeps Juvi by the legs for 2 into a standoff. Juventud ducks a clothseline and and goes behind with a waistlock. Juvi gets a Nothern Lights for 2. London goes outside to take a breather, then comes back in to sweep Juvi again and, in Regal-style, covers him several times, all for 2 counts. Juventud on the apron, skis the cat, and then springs in with a Missile Dropkick for 2. Juvi goes to a chin lock but is forced to break it. Juvi whips London to the ropes and London comes back with a spinning heel kick for 2. After kicks are exchanged London is whipped to the corner, and elbows Juvi on the blind charge, setting up the Toe Tap. London whips him to the oppisite corner, gets flattened by Juvi’s big boot, chops by Juvi. London tries something but Juvi counters it into a hurricanranna that gets 2. Juventud lifts London onto his shoulders and then electric chairs him for 2. Juvi goes for a crossbody but London catches him and turns it into a back breaker for 2. London with a boot for 2. London springboards in from the apron and Juvi nails him with a mid-air dropkick. They collide with dueling clothselines. As they get up Juventud hits a hurricanranna and then nails the Juvi Driver for the win.
Winner and STILL Champion: Juventud
**3/4, solid opener but didn’t quite live up to the hype it had on paper.

Christian v. Brian Kendrick
Christian starts off with a cocky slap causing Kendrick to wail on him until Christian shoves him down. Kendrick gets up and hits a dropkick. Christian whips him to the ropes and tries a clothseline but it’s ducked, Kendrick gets a drop toe hold and cockily slaps Christian from behind. Spanky hits a dropkick for 2. Christian goes out after him, rolls him back in and covers him for 1. Christian with stomps then lifts Kendrick and drops him gut-first over his knee for 2. Christian applies an abdominal sretch. Kendrick stands out of it, hits the ropes and charges but Christian hits a modified Gourdebuster for 2 after Kendrick grabbed the bottom rope for a rope break. **, nice to see Christian get a match where he can actually use his move variety.

Legion Of Doom 2k2 v. William Regal & Paul Birchill – WWE Tag Team Championship
Starting is Heidenreich and Burchill. Heidenreich gets distracted by Regal allowing Burchill to attack him. Regal tagged in who goes punch and kick crazy on Jon. Tag back to Paul who comes in with FURIOUS STOMPS FROM HELL for a 2 count. Burchill suplexes Heidenreich for 2. Regal back in who kicks Jon, then covers him 3 times for 2 counts. Not too often do you see that tactic used by 2 wrestlers at one event, but what the hell. Regal locks in a rear naked choke, Heidenreich fights to his feet but gets knocked down by Regal. Tag to Burchill who beats Jon down some more, snapmares him over and goes off the ropes planting Heidenreich with a knee drop for 2. Paul locks in some kind of submission similar to a Cobra Clutch, Heidenreich gets to his feet… could it be?! Nah, Paul punches him back down. Burchill with a side headlock applied, Heidenreich, on his first offensive of the night, turns it into a suplex. Jon makes the lukewarm tag to Animal who cleans house then slams Burchill for 2. MNM come out causing a DQ, Mexicools make the save. Then, The Tolands (sp?) come out and beatdown LOD.
Winners: LOD 2k2 via DQ
3/4*, what a way to see the end of what looked to be a good show for a change. Yeah, that’s what we all want to see… Paul Burchill beating down Heidenreich for 4 minutes.

Good show this week despite total blown main event. Good cruiserweight action, 2 titles matches, and the other match was half decent.
