Episode 2.07: Something to Talk About

As Derek and Addison see a therapist to try to put their marriage back together, Meredith and the other interns “steal” a psych patient who says he’s pregnant. He isn’t, but he isn’t crazy, either. Meanwhile, Alex tries to talk a reluctant 18-year-old into an operation that could let her walk again; George has a heart-to-heart with the mousy husband of a bossy heart patient; and Cristina and Burke wrestle with whether to “come out” as a couple.
Derek treats Nicole, a 18-year-old patient in a wheelchair who has nerve injuries. Derek suggests a procedure that could have her walk again. Alex assists on this case. Nicole asks Alex questions about he and Izzie… are they a couple or not? Burke and George treat a woman who is an open-heart surgery veteran. Meredith, Izzie, and Cristina take care of Shane, a man who believes he is a duck! Derek must make a tough sacrifice in order to make his relationship work.
