Looking Ahead
Hello there, and welcome to the third edition of ‘Looking Ahead’, a fairly-new weekly column here on this here web site known as Inside Pulse.

This week we’ll be doing the last build up of Taboo Tuesday for this year, and starting to look at what matches we might end up seeing at Survivor Series.

Oh, and to anybody who’s curious, I’m not the Danny Wallace who owns DannyWallace.com… I’m ‘The Other’ Danny Wallace. The Non-Famous (if you could say he’s famous.. I wouldn’t) Danny Wallace.

Why WWE? Why not TNA or ROH?
“Why not look ahead to a TNA or ROH Pay Per View?” I hear you cry. Well, I’ll tell you.

The WWE PPV’s are easier to get hold off in the U.K. for a start. Most WWE PPV’s are broadcast for free on Sky Television, where as both TNA and ROH PPV’s are shown a few months behind schedule, so there’s not much point in focusing on them.

This is the last week I’m gonna tell you this, so take note, future readers.

The Score

Looking Ahead PPV Score: 6/10

‘The Score’ stays at 6 out of 10. The Triple Threat match looks good, but we all know the title won’t change hands. The Inter-Promotion Tag Match is the match I’m most looking forward to, just to see who get’s the fans votes, and what might happen afterwards (will it serve as a build up to the 5 vs. 5 match at Survivor Series? I’m hoping yes. We’ll soon find out tomorrow night.

I’m not fussed about the Tag Team Title match, but it will be interesting to see if Cade & Murdoch can hang with the big boys, whoever they may be.
If the Orton – Flair match at last years Taboo Tuesday will be anything to go by, then the Flair – HHH match will be a sight to see.

PPV Predictions

WWE Championship Match
John Cena (c) vs. Kurt Angle vs. HBK
I’m still sticking with HBK to win the Fans Votes. He’s far more over than either Big Show or Kane.

Winner: John Cena

Edge & Chris Masters vs. Christian & Matt Hardy
I’m also sticking with Matt Hardy & Christian to be the winners of the voting. I also like to be optimistic, and I see Hardy & Christian winning after JBL, Mysterio & Holly interfear in some way. I’m also optimistic that this will lead to the 5 vs. 5 match at Survivor Series.

Winners: Christian & Matt Hardy

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (c) vs. Kane & The Big Show
Last week I said that a short lived team of Kane & Big Show would be a good thing, as it would give the big men something to do. This week… I’ve changed my mind. With Val Venis & Viscera getting a win over the Tag Champs last week, it’s my initial reaction to assume that Venis & Viscera will be getting some sort of short-lived push to feud with Cade & Murdoch, so teaming up Kane & Big Show would be pointless. Anyway, they’ll probably be on the Raw Team for Survivor Series. (I’m banging on about te 5 vs. 5 match at SS a lot aren’t I?..)

Winners: Cade & Murdoch (by cheating)

Ric Flair vs. Triple H
If the match is anything other than a Steel Cage match, then I’ll… I’ll… do something… CrAzY!#!!”111!!

I’ve also changed my mind about the winner of this match from last week. This week, I’m going with Ric Flair, because the way I see it, this feud will last until the Rumble, so Flair to win here, Triple H to win at Survivor Series, then the ‘rubber’ match at the Rumble.

Winner: Ric Flair

‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin vs. Jonathan Coachman
Again, I’m going in the opposite direction from my pick last week. I just don’t see the point of firing Austin, only to re-hire him (in storyline lane obviously) to face Hogan at WM22. Although I like The Coach as the main announcer. It’s somewhat fresh, like when Paul Heyman took over from The King when he f*cked off.

Winner: Steve Austin

Carlito vs. Dude Love
I still say this vote will be rigged to get Dude Love to face Carlito. They could even pro-long this feud until the Rumble if they wanted to by having Foley feud with Carlito using all his 3 different gimmicks.

Winner: Carlito

Handicap Match
Eugene & ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan vs. Rob Conway
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Winner: Rob Conway

Fulfill Your Fantasy Diva Battle Royal for the WWE Women’s Title
Trish (c) vs. Mickie James vs. Maria vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Ashley vs. Candice vs. Victoria

As I said in the Round Table for Taboo Tuesday (which might be up now… or later anyway), I’m predicting Mickie James will eliminate Trish and win the Women’s Title.

Winner: Mickie James
