– PWTorch is reporting that Matt Striker was involved in a major backstage incident recently. According to the rumour he was yelled at by Eddie Guerrero, nearly physically attacked by Hardcore Holly, and was finally thrown out of the locker room by Chris Benoit. There are no further details at this time.

– Trish Stratus was recently interviewed by the Calgary Sun. She comments on the new additions to the women’s division and her lack of interest in it while she was out injured. Read the interview here.

– The Rock’s movie Doom took a 74% drop at the box office in its second week on release. It was the #5 movie at the box office this weekend with a $4 million gross.

– It is still unknown whether or not Edge and Kane will be available to work Taboo Tuesday in light of their recent injuries, although at this point it is likely that only Edge will be cleared to wrestle. A planned storyline involving Kane taking on an OVW developmental talent named Jack Bull in coming weeks has already been postponed. Edge was expected to be a part of Team Raw for the Survivor Series match against Team Smackdown, while recent house show adverts had him fighting Shawn Michaels, but these plans may have to be altered too.
