1Wrestling.com’s Bob Ryder is reporting that Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock have signed deals with UFC to serve as coaches on next season’s “The Ultimate Fighter” and to fight in a rematch on PPV after the season.
Ortiz, who was recently seen as a guest ref in TNA Wrestling, was in the midst of a long contractual holdout and many felt it wouldn’t be resolved. Shamrock is a former WWE superstar and NWA World Heavyweight Champion, but has not appeared on wrestling programming in some time. Due to The Ultimate Fighter and TNA both being on Spike TV, that may change as the new season of TUF gets underway.
