Charlotte, NC, TV channel WSOC-TV Channel 9 today reported that divorce papers filed in May by wife Beth allege that he “slapped, kicked, choked and bit her” as part of physical abuse. The papers also claim Flair abuses alcohol and steroids. Ric Flair, in turn, claimed that “his wife had assaulted him more than once, ‘striking him about the head and body'” and that he “feared for his physical and emotional safety” according to the report.
