The HEAT is still rolling as the days get colder…

Hosts: Todd Grisham & New Host (Coach’s replacement for this week) Tommy Dreamer!!! (Can I say ECW!?)

Trevor Murdoch vs. Scotty Saber
Well anyway, Murdoch I think is trying to get the “big bully” character down as he gets fed a jobber with the no entrance theory at hand. Murdoch pretty much throws out and beats down Saber on the outside and comes back in and does the same with a few hefty forearms to the head. Murdoch locks his sights on working the lower back area with some fist and knee shots. Man it feels like I’ve gone back in time a few 25 years ago with this match. And Murdoch ends the match with his top rope bulldog.
Winner: Trevor Murdoch

Gregory Helms vs. Brad Allen
I liked the Hurricane character (big comic fan) and I’m starting to like Helms’ new character, lets just hope they can actually go somewhere with it, IC title anyone? Helms start on the offensive as we get a few arm lock-ups between both guys, giving Gregory the upper hand with just enough time to show off in the ring. A shoulder take down gives Helms another chance to boast to the crowd. And Allen gets some moves in his own which just pisses Helms off as he quickly fires back, slugging him down with some hard forearms that shoot him out of the ring. Vertical suplex gets 2! Followed by two quick chokes that get a 4 count from the ref, but Helms stays on the head area with a choke submission that is followed by a flying cross body to get a quick 2 on Helms. Shining wizard is all she wrote after that. Did I mention the no entrance theory!?
Winner: Gregory Helms

Matt Striker
Talks to the crowd, and boy is this “heel day” on HEAT this weekend? Anyway, Striker talks about how he will be making his debut on Raw next Monday (but didn’t he make his debut a while back against Angle?) But as where we were, Striker believes his in the classroom talking about his class rules and first impressions. So far the heels are 3-0 in tonight’s show.

Rob Conway vs. Val Venis
with a few chops and even sidesteps a counter by Conway while being tossed to the opposite corner, which gets Conway tossed out the ring. Back in Venis, ties up his arm in a submission Conway finally gets some things turned as he gets the upper hand on Venis by choking him out on the ropes and nails a swinging neck breaker that gets some jeers from the crowd. The beat down continues on the bear left corner with some right and lefts that keep Venis grounded followed by another neck breaker for 2! Submission takes center stage as Conway locks up one in the middle of the ring. Second wind follows for Venis as he starts to take it to Conway with a fisherman’s suplex for… 2! Venis gets in a power bomb for another 2!Venis gets out of his own 2 and knocks down Conway as he decides to go up top, but is cut off on the last second. Rob goes up top with Venis to try and pull of the suplex but is fought off and gets nothing but… nothing! Kick to the gut for Conway to set up the ego trip, but wait… small package for Venis that gets the 1, 2, 3 to end the “bad guy” streak on HEAT!
Winner: Val Venis

The HEAT Wave
Final score 3-1! Venis gets one for the good guys, but have to say, very entertaining show from the Heat crew. Thumbs up to Helms, which should be intresting to see where they go from here with him. While the Raw “debut” for Striker seems kinda “eh” to me. But with time, we shall see. I’m out, Peace!
