The god-awful evil Jakeem arc is finally over; basically wiped out by the reveal that QWSP (the evil 5th Dimension Fairy whose scheme in the “Crisis Times Five” arc resulted in Jakeem getting the Thunderbolt and the JSA reforming) had possessed Jakeem and turned him into Black Skinhead Dictator. QWSP gets purged from Jakeem’s body and bound to a bad guy, blah, blah, blah…..

More interestingly, The Fate Artifacts kick Mordru’s ass across the Multiverse (seen alternate worlds include “Earth Kingdom Come” and “Earth Dark Knight Returns”) until Jakeem shows up, rams the T-Bolt up into Mordru’s mouth as payback for M slitting Jakeem’s throat back in “Princes of Darkness” arc. So he does what every 12 year old super-hero does with an evil sorcerer who’s destined to conquer the universe: sends him to a random location so that the JSA will never see him again.

Sadly the issue ends on a bad note as Lyta and Hector Hall are attacked by the editors of the Vertigo comics line, who drag them back kicking and screaming to Vertigo.

Ooh, that’d hurt my feelings if I edited the Vertigo line, that’s for sure Jesse. Owie. Editor K.-

Hector gets his brains bashed in and Lyta screams for her son Dream V2.0 to stop the Vertigo editors as they are dragged away for all eternity. Oh and the Dr. Fate Artifacts vanish to go get ready for Infinite Crisis
