As previously reported in David Ditch’s excellent puro column and on WrestlingObserver.com, New Japan has made a deal with K-1 to get Akebono to debut at the January 4 dome show in a tag match. Additionally, WWE has withdrawn its attempt to keep Brock Lesnar from appearing on that show, and has pulled out of the hearing scheduled for Tuesday 1/3 to get a temporary restraining order preventing Brock from wrestling.
