Well from a busy week of sports in the football world to a busy weekend in wrestling with Raw’s New Year’s Revolution PPV, we continue with the action of HEAT!

Hosts: Todd Grisham and the returning Coach

Val Venis vs. Snitsky
We get onto a quick easy match here as things go steadily back and forth between both men as momentum finally swings with a huge powerslam for Snitsky as he stomps away on the fallen body of Venis. Quickly, Snitsky lifts him off the mat and drives him to the corner and hits him over with a big right and follows that up with another slam. Snitsky then starts to focus his attention to the lower back of Val as he goes for the pin and only gets 2! Bear hug continues to work on the area as the hold is finally broken by Venis using the elbow to the side of the face to power out. Both men start to slug at each other and Venis gets the upper hand by hitting Snitsky down a few times until boot to the gut hits Venis into the top rope. Superplex is attempted but knocked down and the Money shot comes up but misses wide right (sorry football still in me) and big boot is attempted but a toll up for Venis gets 2! Second time’s the charm as Snitsky nails it this time for the win.
Winner: Snitsky

Heartthrobs vs. Fred Sampson & Scotty Charisma
Some random girls start to dance in the ring with HT, but dancing isn’t enough as they want the girls to get down with each other. And they start to, but the newcomers come in and break things up which doesn’t last long as HT gets back the upper hand quickly. Double team goes outside and inside as a double elbow drop gets a 2! Scotty finally tags in and gets Fred in as more double team takes center stage between the jobbers of the night. Tag is in for HT as they clear the ring and hit the side double Russian leg sweep on Charisma to end things within seven minutes.
Winner: Heartthrobs

Striker’s Classroom: Today’s lesson… Me! (err, Matt… him… Striker). And there will be quiz. Did I mention I hate school? Well he lets us know where he grew up and what degrees he has as well as what music he likes. Also he doesn’t do pot!!! But it’s important that we learn about him, because he is out TEACHER.

Viscera vs. Tyson Tomko
It’s the MAIN EVENT!!! And again, two big men are squaring off center stage. Tyson starts slugging away quickly to start things off, but don’t go well as Viscera uses his size to his advantage and knocks Tomko out of the ring. However, Viscera gets rung up on the top rope as Tyson gets in and a HUGE clothesline knocks down the big man for 2! More right continue to hit away at the face of Viserca and follows it up with a DDT for another 2! More work continues on the upper body of the big man as Viscera finally picks up Tomko and falls down a Samoan drop to put on the Visagra, but Tomko narrowly misses the drop. Back up to his feet doesn’t go well as a spinning heel kick hits Tomko and knocks the man to the ground. Big boot misses for Tyson and Viscera locks on the sex drive for the three count.
Winner: Viscera

The HEAT Wave
Your pretty much normal run show of Heat tonight as the main event actually goes by pretty fast and surprisingly enough, a one sided affair. And it seems as they are still trying to push Striker with the teacher- heel character, so I guess we have to wait and see if any of that will transfer over to Raw. Till then, I’m out. Peace!
