Matt Hardy didn’t work the Smackdown tapings last night due to a staph infection in his right knee. He had one last month, and he is on strong antibiotics trying to get it to clear up. It is contagious and has been a problem recently in amateur wrestling and on the high school level.
As of now, Matt is scheduled to compete at the Royal Rumble this Sunday.
