– WWE RAW did a 4.5 cable rating (6.7 share) for Monday’s show, with hours of 4.5 and 4.5, according to Nielsen Media Research and PWInsider.com. Saturday’s AM RAW did a 0.7 (1.8).

NorthJersey.com confirms that Tribune-owned Ch. 11/WPIX in New York will be airing Smackdown next season when UPN and The WB merge to form The CW network. It currently airs on Fox-owned UPN affiliate WWOR (Ch. 9). Dave Scherer reports that his sources say it is likely SD will remain in the Friday time slot, which will not have Yankee preemptions (although may have Mets ones) in the summer in NY.

– The original plans, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (click here for subscription information), for the Rumble SD main event was Batista vs. Mark Henry, with Batista facing The Undertaker at No Way Out and Randy Orton at Mania. Obviously this has changed due to Batista’s injury.
