The Weekly Pulse: TV's Second Wife

Archive

Okay..by the time you read this..I won’t be here. I will be out of town. Come to think of it, though, you are never here when you read this. You are always there, wherever there might be.

Anyways..the point is this column will be a little shorter than usual. You won’t get any talk from me. Just stuff from other people. So sorry, but I am off to “party” the weekend away in the Northwest part of Arkansas! Booyah!

By the way, my recap of ‘The O.C.’ this week will be delayed until Monday, since I can’t bring my TiVo with me on my trip. I will be back next week for a full column, but for this week..enjoy what others have done at Pulse TV this past week!

Seinfeld Quote of the Week

“Maybe she has toe thumbs . . . Is her handshake a little firm? Perhaps too firm?”George

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

****NOTE: The deadline this week was Wednesday/Thursday morning, so anything that was written on Thursday will be in next week’s column****

Columns a.k.a. Yep..Still Back!!

Sarah Quigley is a slut for geeks! She said it..not me. Check out more thoughts from her on ‘Beauty and the Geek 2’!

Matt Basilo blames his TiVo for not recording ‘Smallville’ last week. Therefore, he just has general thoughts on that episode and he puts it in this column. He also talks about ‘Lost’, ’24’, and ‘The O.C.’ once again! He also points out errors in ‘The Simpsons’ and has another “Fun TV Fact”.

Mike Sage discusses ‘Lost’ and the IQ of certain people lost on the island. Interesting!

DeeDee has our first ‘American Idol’ talk of the year! She brings you her highlights of this season so far! It’s just getting started!

Farah Syed searches for something good on TV when her regular viewing schedule takes a nap. She found the ‘X-Files’ on some syndicated TV station and tells you all about her adventure here. Never did like that show, but Farah does!

Recaps a.k.a. TV is Back, but Where is Everyone This Week?!?!

Kevin Wong tags in this week to help review another episode of ‘Battlestar Galactica’!

I have the latest episode of the ‘Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet II’!

John Duran has some new ‘Desperate Housewives’ for you!

This week we had 1 DVD review!

Scott Keith has the second season of Lois & Clark – The New Adventures of Superman! That’s the one with Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain!

Celebrities = Katie is BACK and A Little News For You!!

Katie, from the ‘Road Rules’ and ‘RW/RR Challenge: The Gauntlet II’, is back! She skips her thoughts on episode 7, though, to go straight to the last episode, which is episode #8! Why? Because she is PISSED! At who? Read and find out..if you have not already!

How about some TV news? Rob Purchase returns to give you two pieces of information.

First..we have some ‘Survivor’ stuff. The first winner of that show is in DEEP trouble with the law!

Next..we have ‘Lost’ news. The cast of the show is getting some more money! Maybe that will help them find their way OFF the island!

The Weekly Pulse Weekly Poll

Last week..I asked the question…”do you watch FOX more since the return of ’24’ and ‘American Idol’?” And since I have little time this week..I am keeping that question open. No new question until next week!

But you can still click on the link and VOTE..if you haven’t already done so! Remember..VOTE OR DIE!

Time to Talk a.k.a. NOTHING THIS WEEK!!

Sorry, but you will have to remember my past columns and long for next week when I return to speak on whatever I want to talk about!

That is all I got this week, though. Any comments, questions, or suggestions are always welcome.

“Life Ain’t Always Beautiful, but It’s a Beautiful Ride!”

And as always remember…“You Can’t Fight Fate!”. See you next week!

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
