Fit Finley vs. Brian Kendrick
Finley dominates the match. He traps Spanky in the ring apron. He then drops Spanky in that reverse Snow Plow.
Winner – Finley (He loves to fight)
Cruiserweight Championship Open Invitational
This is a Texas Tornado match open to any former CW Champ, with the First Fall winning.
Kid Kash, Funaki, London, Nunzio, Jamie Noble, & Gregory Helms
All the SD stars gang up on Helms to start. They then break up to 3 groups of 2 fighting in a HUGE melee. Everyone on the outside, and London hits a SSP off the top to floor. London brings Kash in the ring to hit a 450, but Helms meets London on the top rope, and hits a swinging neckbreaker off the top. Kash then hits the Dead Level on Nunzio, only for Nunzio and Funaki to break it up. Noble locks a Dragon Sleeper on Funaki, but Helms breaks it up, tosses Noble to the floor, and nails Funaki with a Shinning Wizard for the pinfall.
Winner and NEW CHAMP – Gregory Helms
Vince dismisses Teddy Long from helping pull the Rumble numbers tonight. Orton comes in to pull his number, while Vince (along with Torrie, Victoria, Candace, and Chole) supervises. Orton seems to have pulled a high number. HHH comes in, and he starts trash talking Orton, telling him that he doesn’t have a shot at winning. HHH then pulls his number, and the reaction is that he is a very low number, and Orton ribs him for it.
Mickie catches up with Trish before the match. She tells Trish that she loves her.
Mickie James vs. Ashley – Special Guest Ref: Trish Stratus
This is a really bad match, and it shows that Ash is NOT ready to be a fulltime grappler. Ash has Mickie in the corner, and is on the ropes punching down, but Mickie pulls her down with a powerbomb, and the pin.
Winner – Mickie
Mickie keeps celebrating, and tries to hug Trish, but she keeps shoving her off.
Vince is looking at the girls tattoos, and Big Show comes in to pick his number. He seems pretty content. Mysterio comes in. Show thinks it is a stand up thing for Mysterio dedicate the Rumble match to Eddie Guerrero. Mysterio picks his number, and he thinks that Eddie is playing a joke on him.
JBL (w/ Jillian) vs. The BoogyMan
Jillian attacks Boogy from behind, but Boogy slams her, and drops some worms into her mouth. JBL attacks, but is pretty creeped out. Boogy ends it quick with the Meltdown.
Winner – BoogyMan
Shelton picks his number, and tells Vince that he would be happy to eliminate HBK. Melina comes in, and MNM pick their numbers, and she ensures that MNM will take care of HBK.
Spirit Squad comes down and does their thing.
Royal Rumble Match
Back and forth action. Mysterio misses a 619.
Dean goes after Mysterio, but HHH beats up Dean, and Mysterio hits Senton, and both HHH and Mysterio toss him over.
More back and forth with Mysterio and HHH.
Psi goes right after Mysterio, then Mysterio. Psi goes for a Razor’s Edge type thing, but Mysterio hurracanranna’s Psi over the top rope.
Flair goes after and mauls HHH, but Flair gets distracted by the clock, and HHH drops him over the top rope.
Show goes right after, and dominates, HHH.
Coach tries to club Show, but Show just mocks Coach, and pie-faces him over the top rope.
Show dominates HHH.
Lashley and Show to toe to toe. Show slugs him, but Lashley comes off and back flips Show! Show rolls under the ring ropes to the floor.
Lashley and KANE go toe to toe, and Lashley hits a release belly-to-belly, then a Dominator on KANE.
Lashley laughs off Slyvan, and toss him quickly.
Big Show back in, and he and KANE hit a double choke slam, and tosses him.
KANE and Big Show to at it, and they are both trying to eliminate each other, but HHH comes over and topples them both.
3-way action.
Benoit goes NUTS. Chops and German’s all around. Benoit locks on the Crossface on Carlito, but HHH breaks it up. Benoit nails a top rope headbutt on HHH.
Booker T goes right after Benoit, and Benoit tosses him right back over.
Tatanka goes nuts, and double tomahawk chops HHH and Carlito.
Nitro goes after Tatanka, who is attacking Mercury. Carlito almost eliminates Mysterio.
Eugene wants to shake hands with Murdoch, but Murdoch punches him. Eugene tards-up, and airplane spins Murdoch. Both are dizzy, and Mysterio hits a bulldog on both.
Animal double clotheslines both members of MNM, then goes after Murdoch.
RVD is on fire, and Carlito slides under the ropes. RVD with a back body drop on Animal, eliminating him.
Carlito attacks RVD.
RVD tosses Carlito, over the top, but Carlito holds on.
Chavo hits the Three Amigos on Mercury, and goes for a Frog Splash, but HHH shoves him off the top rope.
MNM hit Tatanka with a Snapshot, and toss him.
HBK slugs everyone. Murdoch charges HBK, but HBK drops down and holds the rope and Murdoch goes over the top.
Hardy (my personal pick) & HHH go back and forth trying to eliminate each other.
Vis nails Hardy with a Samoan Drop. Hardy is back up, goes for a Twist of Fate, but Vis reverses it, and tosses Hardy.
Shelton and HHH go at it.
The crowd is stunned…probably because they don’t care about Goldust. Benoit tosses Eugene.
Orton goes right after Benoit, and tosses him out quickly.
Mysterio takes out his fellow lucha.
Orton then makes short work of OJ.
Carlito and Masters double-team Vis and toss him.
Carlito then double-crosses Masters, and tosses him.
Goldust puts Carlito on the turnbuckle, and punts him in the balls, but RVD dropkicks Goldust over the top.
MNM goes for the Snapshot on HBK, but HBK tosses Mercury on the ring apron, Nitro charges HBK, and HBK dodges him, and Nitro hits Mercury off.
HBK then tosses Nitro.
HBK then superkicks Shelton over the top rope.
Vince comes down, and distracts HBK, Shane gets in the ring, and tosses HBK over the top rope.
RVD tosses out Carlito.
RVD & Mysterio double team HHH, but RVD goes to the top for a 5 Star, but HHH tosses Mysterio into RVD, and he falls to the floor.
Mysterio with a leg scissors, pulls HHH over the top to the floor.
HHH pulls Mysterio to the floor, and tosses him into the ring steps. Mysterio back in the ring, and Orton is being cocky. Orton takes his time, but Mysterio pops up, and leg scissors Orton over the top rope!
WINNER – REY MYSTERIO
Edge (c) (w/ Lita) vs. John Cena – WWE Title
Cena has a catwalk come down from the ceiling, and he has confetti. Cena is on fire to start, and Edge crawls outside. Edge hides behind Lita, shoves Lita into Cena, and then spears him into the ringsteps. Edge tosses Cena over the retaining wall, and Cena gets back in right before the 10 count. Edge is all over Cena, nailing a big time suplex. Edge off the top rope with a missile dropkick for 2. Both men on the top turnbuckle, and Edge is looking for a SUPERPLEX, but Cena shoves him off, goes for a Leg Drop, but misses. Cena goes for a FU, but Edge pulls at his face, to get out of it. Edge back to the top, with a Top Rope Crossbody, but Cena rolls through for 2. Edge locks Cena up in a Sleeper, and locks the body with his legs. Cena fights out, Edge goes for the Spear, but Cena dodges it, nails a DDT. Both men are down. Back up, Cena ducks a clothesline, nails a flying shoulderblock, then a few clotheslines, then his weird hip toss. Cena nails the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Lita on the apron, Cena confronting her, Edge charges, Cena moves, Edge hits Lita, Edge up in the FU, Cena drops him, locks on the STFU, Edge taps.
Winner and NEW Champion – John Cena
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Mark Henry – World Heavyweight Title
Angle locks on the Ankle Lock, Daivari distracts the ref, Henry kicks out, and Angle bumps the ref. Daivari tries to bring a chair in the ring, but Angle takes it and clocks Daivari. Angle brings the chair in the ring, but Henry takes it away, and tosses it to side. Angle gets the chair back, and clocks Henry twice. Angle gets the ref up, but gets a 2 count. Angle takes the pad off the middle turnbuckle, and then Drop Toe’s Henry head first into it, then rolls up Henry for the 3 count.
Winner – Angle
Undertaker comes out on a chariot, complete with horse. He signals that he wants the belt. He then tosses his hands in the air, and pyro goes off above the ring. He the drops his hands, and lightning bolts hit the ring posts, and the ring collapses, with Angle in the ring.
