– On Dave Meltzer’s radio show last night, Konnan said that Randy Orton is Rey Mysterio’s best friend on Smackdown after the Mexicools, and that he probably doesn’t want to do the Eddie angle but also doesn’t want to be buried. Konnan said he would quit if he was personally asked to do a similar angle, and Bryan Alvarez of the Observer says that a lot of guys backstage are upset that Randy went through with it.
– WWE has signed Damien Steel, who has been working in Deep South Wrestling, to a developmental deal.
– The Lowell Sun has a nice story here about a seven-year old kid with leukemia who has met Kurt Angle adn several other WWE wrestlers.
