The 24 live recap is about to begin. Rob Purchase is here with me to add his two cents.
The question of is who does Rob Purchase love more, Dr. Gregory House or Tony Almeida?
Rob: I had a fling with House, but Tony is my first love. The question is when is he coming out of his coma to kick some ass.
Romo: Wouldn’t it be awesome if Tony just woke up out of his coma and no one asked questioned it?
Rob: I loved how in the first episode Edgar diagnosed him within minutes.
Well things are about to get started on”¦.24

Romo: should we call Sean Astin: Samwise, Hobbit or Rudy?
Rob: RUDY, RUDY, RUDY!!
Rob (watching Jack beat up Walt): Cummings got stuck in a Flank 2 position there.
Romo: Whenever you run out of enemies, bring out the Russians.

Logan yells at Walt about what he’s done. Logan finally acts like a man, but its just not believable.
Walt tries to justify himself, saying it will help keep oil production or some crap..
Rob: I love the oil angle.
Jack believes that Walt knows no more than he is telling them.
Rob: So gut him like a fish.
Logan asks Jack “What do we do now?”
Jack says he has to go despite Logan’s tears to keep him. Jack needs to go see his daughter.
Rob: Come to baby Elisha!!
Logan looks like he really is going to cry as he continues to praise Jack.
Romo (my phone just rang): Who the Fuck is calling during 24??
Some dude tells Ivan they cant activate the canisters. Ivan knocks him down and threatens to kill him.
Romo: For a guy in a yellow tie he is acting really tough.
Rudy gets a call from a hooker. She looks cranked out on the H-Train. She asks for money from him. He refuses to allow her to come over to CTU.
She says she is gonna hurt herself, it turns out she is his sister.
Romo: What a bad name, Lynn.

Bill gives CTU a briefing about the nerve gas. He says evacuation is not an option.
They are monitoring his cell phone.
Rudy estimates the possible casualties is in the hundreds of thousands.
The big bad dude calls Ivan. I’ve seen the actor before, can’t remember where. He tells Ivan how to arm the canisters.
Rob: I love the random evil white guys they have in the show
Bill tells Audrey that Jack has been reinstated.
Chloe replays the cell call they traced between Ivan and the bad dude

Edgar says they have traced where the call came from, not Ivan but the dude who called him.
Jacob Rossler, he is a bad dude who has done some identity theft and other crimes but never convicted.
Jack is in the helicopter and re routes to Rossle’s place.
Chloe says they need Spence’s help with some technical crap.
Rob: He gave me the best lay I ever had.
Romo: The only lay.
Jack calls Audrey, Rob sighs in anger and annoyance.
Audrey is asked to get in touch with Kim Bauer.
Rob: To hell with Audrey keep banging the hot chick from Spin City.

Ivan and his boys enter a garage. He asks the dude for a metal cutter. Ivan pulls a gun on him, says he must do the work for him or he will die.

Commercial time,
A commercial with Norm MacDonald as a beaver shows an SNL person hit an all-time low.

Logan yells at someone over the phone.
His wife walks in.
Rob: YES! Crazy wife time. I love this character.
She is still upset at him.
Rob: hit him, hit him!!
She talks about the good old times they had. She says he needs her.
She smacks him,
Rob & Romo: YEAH!!
Rob: That was awesome!!

Novak walks in and forgives Logan for being a dumbass and not trusting him and Jack.
Rob: Mike should have slapped him too.
Novak suggests keeping Walt out of sight to keep things out of the press.
Mrs. Logan thinks they should not cover things up. Novak and Logan disagree. Martha thinks he can overcome the Walt fiasco. She says the public wont forgive being lied to.
Logan agrees.
Romo: He just wants to get laid.
Rob: Just like any prez, the wife grabs him by the balls and makes the decisions for him.
Chloe and Spencer start working on getting Jack into Rossle’s building.
Rob: can you say threesome with edgar?
Jack’s helicopter is about to land and Curtis is already waiting for him.
Rob: Curtis is like Superman, he is always there when you need him.
Jack discusses getting into the building. Rossler is in the penthouse, two guards are with him.
Ivan’s cronies are getting ready to cut the canisters, Rossler is instructing them how to do it.
Romo: Rossler isn’t in the penthouse.

Jack and Curtis make a move to the building.
Spencer preps the camera cut off. Jack walks in and gets the elevator codes from the security guard.
Jack, Curtiz and the guard get in the elevator
Rob: I would love it if Bauer pistol-whipped him for no reason.
Jack knocks him out just on cue.
The other security guard calls Rossler saying there may be a situation.
Jack and Curtis get out of the elevator. The guards are firing at him,
Jack shoots one guy, Curtis is shot but ok. Jack takes down the other guy.
Rossler is on the move. Jack goes after him,shoots a guard. He takes down Rossler uninjunred.
There is another person in the penthouse.
It’s some young moderately hot girl. She is E. European, seems she is a slave or something. She is crying.

Romo: maybe she can go out with Tony.
Rob: Tony is back in the bachelor scene”¦haha. So inappropriate, yet so necessary.

Ivan and his boys get ready to cut the canisters. Cal, the mechanic dude with a gun to his head, asks what is this all about.
Ivan gives him a story about his wife and son are being held by the blah blah blah.
Cal is trying to shit himself.
Cal starts to cut the canisters.

Jack and his team take over Rossle’s apartment. Jack is comforting the hot chick. He tells a CTU cronie to take care of her.
Jack tells Curtis to put Rossler in a chair.
Rob: What happened to Curtis being shot?
Jack starts to interrogate Rossler, who asks for his lawyer. Jack says he will get a lawyer when he gets what he needs.
Rossler isn’t saying anything, he tells Jack he has a problem. Jack tells him that he has a problem. “Trust me, you don’t want to be in this room with me.”
Jack backhands him after he tells him to go to hell.

Jack is going at him hard with some old school torturing.
Rossler wants full immunity, and Anisa, the girl comes with him.
Jack refuses to make deal. Curtis is working him over nicely.
Lynn interrupts and tells him to accept the deal.
Rob: Fuck you Rudy, let the man torture him.
Romo: You cant give away a slave as part of deal.
Rob: he is no Sam, a loyal friend.
Rossler says when he sees a signed agreement, and he wants Anessa.

Rob: She knows something.

Jack tells Rossler the agreement is being drawn up. He says he doesn’t know anything about Ivan, he only spoke to him 30 minutes ago.
Rossler says he was going to give Ivan an activation code.
Romo: I need to figure where this actor is from.

Bill gets a call from Jack, he says the documents are on the way.
Anessa is 15, was taken from Kiev, probably by slave traders.
Romo: Jack is gonna f*cking kick his ass now.
Jack tells Rossler he cant take the girl.
Rossler says Anessa is all he cares about.
They show Anessa’s bruised and tear-filled face.
Spencer and Chloe experience a moment of sexual awkwardness.
Romo: She still wants to f*ck him.
She tells Spencer they don’t need him anymore, that he doesn’t work here anymore.
He leaves with two officers escorting him away.
Edgar tells Chloe she did the right thing, she tells him to shut up.
Rob: That was awesome. He wants a piece of Chloe too.
Martha is writing Logan’s speech.

He gets a call from Novak. He says he thinks Logan should come here, he wont say why.
Rob: This is gonna be good.
Cal continues to cut away at the canisters.
It seems he has succeeded.
Ivan lifts the lid off them. He says “good.”
Novak awaits for Logan. Walt has hung himself in the bathroom, he orders some cronies to “cut him down.”
Rob: That’s a Flank 2 position right there.

Rudy goes to meet his crack-whore sister.
Rob: AS if they have a shadowy parking lot by CTU.
The whore asks for money, Rudy gives her a card for a doctor.
Some dude just came out of nowhere and beat him down. He is taking his wallet. She apolgizes.
Romo: Not much of an agent Rudy.
Rob: first thing he does is adjust the tie, what a loser.
Jack and Curtis talk shop. Jack calls Audrey, AGAIN!
Rob: Fuck off.
It seems Kim is not in.
Romo: I want to see Elisha!!
Anessa asks Jack to contact her family. Jack tells her to sit down.
Rob: We are gonna f*ck you over now.
Jack tells her that she has to stay with Rossler, just for now. She tells Jack “you don’t know what he does to me when we are alone.”
She tells Jack he is no different from Rossler. He promises to not let anything happen to her.
She agrees to do what Jack says.
Romo: No woman can say no to Jack.
Cal continues to work on another canister. Ivan shoots him now that he is done his job.
Rob: Well that is harsh

Ivan orders his boys to load the canisters into the van and get rid of the body.
Rossler gets a call. Its Ivan who sends him the ID keys. Rossler tells him that he will be ready in 10 minutes, they need to meet in person.
Ivan says he will call back in 5 minutes with the location.
Jack and Anessa begin to leave.
Rob: Kimmie never made her appearance.
Romo: Like all women, she is just a tease”¦lol.
Annessa pulls a gun and shoots Rossler. She is now aiming at Jack. He disarms her in a second or two.
Rossler is dead.

Final Thoughts
Romo: I am annoyed Kim Bauer did not show up. I feel ripped off. I am also annoyed I cant figure out where I know Rossler from, IMDB.com f*cked me on that one too as he is NOT listed in this week’s episode. Lesson of the day: do not trust IMDB.com
Rob: I too am annoyed by Kim’s no show. I guess Inside Pulse spoilers cannot be trusted. But those of you who trust the Crystal Ball already know that.
