The Wrestling Observer is reporting that pro wrestler Johnny Grunge (Mike Durham) passed away earlier this morning in Georgia. While at a friend’s house, he began gasping for air and was rushed to the hospital. The preliminary cause of death is complications due to sleep apnea.
Grunge is best known as one half of Public Enemy along with Rocco Rock (Ted Petty), who passed away in 2002. Public Enemy became stars in ECW before going to to WCW in 1996. Public Enemy would later leave WCW for a brief WWF run before returning to WCW.
All of us here at Inside Pulse send out our thoughts and prayers to Durham’s family and friends in this difficult time.
