– Dusty Rhodes is close to a long-term deal with WWE to be on TV and a member of creative. He still wants to do conventions and indie shows. He was supposed to be placed on RAW as GM, but Vince has had a lot of fun in the interim GM role, and will likely stay there through his Mania program with HBK. Rhodes recently nixed an idea to do a tag-team match with Flair at Mania, and a DVD will likely be out soon with a re-release (with new chapters) of his book down the road. He is getting more power within WWE, and was one of the people who spoke out against using Eddy Guerrero in storylines.
– Dusty Rhodes’ son Cody Runnells was given an offer to go to OVW and see if he likes it. He is a two-time Georgia high school wrestling champion.
– Due to back issues, Goldust’s new contract calls for a 100 date maximum part-time schedule.
